Parker Bowles received the 2023 Robbie Bryant Slugging Award prior to Thursday’s matchup between Henry County and Eminence. Peggy Bryant and Henry County baseball coach Walker Paris presented Bowles with the award, which is given to the player with the highest slugging percentage each year. Bowles earned the honor after posting a team-high .610 slugging percentage during the 2023 season. Bowles is the son of Daren and Stephanie Bowles of Turner Station, and currently plays baseball for Asbury University.
